I found no other ticketed in-person events after Wild Area Sendai. Check the official Pokémon GO news page for new announcements.
A special background is a themed scene behind a Pokémon in your collection. Some come from events anyone can play, and some are tied to a place and only for people who attended in person.

Already gone
- GO Fest 2026: Global (July 11 and 12) had a background that 91 different Pokémon could carry, from Articuno and Lugia to Garchomp and Gengar.
- GO Fest 2026 in Tokyo and Copenhagen had location backgrounds as well.
- Dittobase keeps a catalogue of past backgrounds and which Pokémon had them.
Backgrounds are cosmetic. Collectors often chase them on shiny or 100% IV Pokémon.
The top five raid attackers for each type, with their best moves. Mark what you own and which ones you have a hundo of. Your marks save to your account.
Nothing matches those filters.
Ranked by a blend of damage per second and total damage before fainting, against a typeless boss with a level 40 Pokémon. Mega and Primal forms only help while they are active. Ranking data as of Oct 3, 2026.
A hundo is a Pokémon with perfect hidden stats. It is the most sought-after kind to keep for raids and Master League battles.
What the numbers mean
Every Pokémon has three hidden values called IVs: Attack, Defense and HP. Each runs from 0 to 15. A hundo has all three at 15, which the game shows as 100%.
The in-game appraisal calls it a 4-star Pokémon, with every stat bar full.
Where the odds come from
- Wild catch, no boost
- 1 in 4,096
- Weather-boosted wild catch (floor of 4)
- 1 in 1,728
- Raid, egg, research or Rocket reward (floor of 10)
- 1 in 216
- Lucky Pokémon (floor of 12)
- 1 in 64
Standard game mechanics, not taken from the sources above. The "floor" is the lowest each stat can roll.
Slang you will see
- Hundo: 15/15/15, 100% IV.
- Shundo: a shiny hundo.
- Nundo: 0/0/0, the opposite extreme.
- 4-star: the appraisal tier a hundo falls in, along with a few near-perfect ones.
When it is worth chasing
- Raids and gyms: a hundo adds a little extra damage and bulk, so it matters less than the right moves.
- Master League: high IVs are the goal, so hundos are the standard.
- Great and Ultra League: a low Attack with high Defense and HP often ranks better than 15/15/15.
- Collecting: a hundo with a special background or shiny is a trophy.
Mark hundos on the Best Pokémon tab. Raid, egg and research rewards give you the best odds.
